Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix

Instructions

1_ In a large bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese. Blend in the egg yolk and vanilla.

2_ Gradually beat in the cake mix. Dough will be stiff. Cover, and chill for 30 minutes.

3_ Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

4_ Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm. Cool on wire racks.
