Chocolate Key Lime Pie


  • 300 grams Chocolate Hobnobs (or any kind of choc biscuit)
  • 397 grams Condensed Milk
  • 150 grams Unsalted Butter
  • 3 Egg Yolks
  • 4 Limes
  • 300 ml Double Cream
  • 1 tbsp Icing Sugar


1_ Preheat oven to 160c

2_ Finely crush the biscuits, and add the melted butter.

3_ Press firmly into the base and sides of tin and bake for 10 mins. Once finished, leave to cool.

4_ Whisk the egg yolks and gradually add the condensed Milk.

5_ Add the juice and zest of 4 limes, leaving a little zest for later.

6_ Pour filling onto base and cook in the oven for 15 mins. Leave to chill in fridge.

7_ Whip the cream and add the icing sugar until firm. Pipe the cream on to the pie and sprinkle a little leftover zest on top.
