Leche Flan


  • 10 large egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 370 ml evaporated milk
Caramelized Sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar


1_ In a bowl, strain your egg yolks on a strainer.

2_ Mix egg yolks, slowly stirring in sugar until dissolve completely.

3_ Slowly add in milk.

4_ Caramelize your sugar.

5_ In a mold, lightly coat the bottom of your mold with your caramelized sugar. Then pour in the egg mixture halfway through or depending how thick you want it to be. Repeat process.

6_ Steam for about 1 hour or more until it's cook through. Enjoy!
