Truly Easy Turkey Pot Pie

  •  3 cup chopped turkey
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 15 oz bag frozen mixed veggies (1)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp round sage
  • to taste salt
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 box prepared pie crust (2 crusts)

1_ Preheat oven to 350°F.

2_ Thaw frozen veggies in microwave (about 3 minutes on high worked for me).

3_ Mix ingredients (except spray and pie crusts!) in large bowl.

4_ Add salt to taste.

5_ Spray 9" deep-dish pie pan with non-stick cooking spray.

6_ Lay first pie crust in pan and press to cover all surfaces.

7_ Spoon the filling into pan on top of pie crust and smooth out.

8_ Place second pie crust on top of filling.

9_ Cut overhanging pie crust off and thoroughly press/pinch bottom and top edges together.

10_ Roll out the cut-off pie crust pieces and cut into decorative medallions if desired.

11_ Cut multiple slits in top pie crust and place pie-crust medallions in a decorative pattern.

12_ Bake for 50-60 minutes. If edges of crust brown too quickly, place foil loosely on top.

13_ Allow to rest 10 minutes for easy cutting and serving.
