Moroccoan almond cookies


  • 300 grams raw grated almonds
  • 2 large eggs
  • 180 grams granulated sugar
  • 70 grams cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp orange blossom water
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • confectioner's sugar


1_ Mix the cornstach, the granulated sugar and the almonds all together. Add the baking powder. Pre-heat oven at 180C.

2_ Beat the eggs along with the vanilla extract and the orange water, then add it to the 1st mix and stir in slowly.

3_ Once the mass is ready start making teaspoon-sized balls and coat them in the confectioner's sugar.

4_ Bake for 15-20 minutes and let them cool.
