Delicate Tiramisu Cake Delivers Decadent Flavor

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved Tiramisu.

It was strange because I detested coffee, yet I could drink the coffee in this dessert with no problem.  It was rich, sweet and airy at the same time.  It had the richness of the coffee and raw cocoa powder, the sweetness of the ladyfinger cookies and airy with the sweet cream in the middle.  It seemed to me like the perfect dessert.

Fast forward a few years and I met my husband.  Turns out he loves Tiramisu as well.  It is a wonder because no one in my family likes it so I could never order it at a restaurant.  But now? My husband and I are able to try it at every and any restaurant we visit and we absolutely love doing it!
We have tried it in so many different places and have also narrowed down our favorites.  So now, we decided we wanted to make it at home whenever we wanted.  We have found the perfect recipe for this dessert and we think you are going to love it as well!  Give it a try and let us know what you think.  It is almost better than a restaurant-style Tiramisu!

Quick Tip: Use any strength of coffee for this, but best results come with strong espresso.

This Tiramisu is everything I like it to be.  Rich where it needs to be, sweet but not too sweet, and airy to make it a light dessert.  It is creamy and delicious and the perfect ending to any meal…Italian or not! I gave this recipe to my little sister and she said it was the easiest cake she ever made. Now, I don’t know about all that but the cake isn’t extremely hard to make. However, she did say that my little niece helped and she’s only 5.

See what I mean?  It is easy, no bake and totally delicious.  This is my type of dessert.  And the best part is that a little piece goes a long way, so you do not need to make a ton when hosting (although everyone will want some to take with them to make some extra!).
