Ingredients

5-6 pork chops
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (29 ounce) can cling peach halves
1/4 c. vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Lightly brown pork chops on both sides in a skillet. Pour off excess fat-grease. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, tomato sauce, 1/4 c. syrup from peaches and vinegar in a large bowl.

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Arrange pork chops in your slow cooker (crock pot). Place drained peach halves on top. Pour tomato mixture over them. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 4-6 hours until done.

Makes 5-6 servings.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
3 cans (15 oz) of kidney beans, drained
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 can (15 oz.) whole tomatoes (cut up and juice drained and reserved)
1 can (8 ounce) tomato paste
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Crumble ground beef and place into crock pot. Add beans, onion and garlic. In large bowl, stir in tomatoes with juice, tomato paste, water, chili powder, salt, basil, oregano, and both peppers until its all blended together.

Pour this into meat mixture and stir until its all mixed together. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or cook on low for 8 hours or until done. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top before serving in individual bowls.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can condensed cream of potato soup
1 can diced green chiles, undrained
2 tablespoons snipped fresh cilantro
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
3 cups chicken broth
8 ounces sour cream
4 ounces jalapeno pepper cheese spread

Directions

In a crockpot, combine chicken, corn, soup, undrained chiles, cilantro, and taco seasoning mix. Stir in chicken broth.

Cover; cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours, or on HIGH setting for 4 to 5 hours. Stir about 1 cup of hot soup into sour cream. Stir sour cream mixture and cheese into the mixture in crockpot; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.

Ingredients

3 to 4 lbs. spareribs
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1 onion, sliced
1 (16-oz.) bottle barbecue sauce

Directions

Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs in a broiler pan under broiler for 15 minutes to brown. Put sliced onion in crockpot. Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crockpot. Pour in barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

Ingredients

1-1/2 lbs. boneless chicken breasts
1/2 c. plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp. butter
1c. chicken broth
1 small onion, diced
1/4 c. canned jalapeo peppers, sliced
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
2 tbsp. heavy cream or milk
6 flour tortillas (7 to 8 inches)
6 thin slices American cheese

Directions

Cut chicken into strips. Coat chicken with 1/2 c. of flour mixture and salt. Melt butter in large skillet. Brown chicken strips 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Place chicken into Crock pot. Add chicken broth to skillet scraping up browned bits. Pour broth mixture into Crockpot. Add onion, jalapeo peppers and oregano.

Cook on low 7 hours or on high 4 hours. Mix 2 tablespoons flour and cream in small bowl, form a paste. Stir into chicken mixture; cook on high until thickened.

Spoon chicken mixture onto center of flour tortillas. Top with 1 cheese slice. Fold up tortillas and serve. Serves 6.
